Intelligent manufacturing, robot system control and smart cities are just three of the technological advances that depend for their success on the related disciplines of mechanics, electronics, automation and automatic control.

This publication presents the proceedings of MEAAC 2025, the 3rd International Conference on Mechanics, Electronics, Automation and Automatic Control, held in person from 24 to 26 October 2025 in Nanning, China, with an additional online live-streaming platform which attracted over 13,000 views. The MEAAC conference series was conceived with the aim of promoting academic exchange within and across disciplines, addressing theoretical and practical challenges and advancing current understanding and application, while at the same time spreading amity, establishing connections and enabling future collaborations. A total of 69 papers were submitted to this year’s conference, 39 of which were accepted for presentation and publication after a thorough, double-blind peer review process, resulting in an acceptance rate of 57%. The papers are divided into 3 sections: industrial intelligence and scheduling optimization (12 papers); materials, maritime and cross - domain technologies (17 papers); and mechanical equipment and vehicle engineering advancements​ (10 papers), and cover many current topics, including intelligent manufacturing, power systems, and robot system control.

Presenting an overview of the latest research advances and technologies, and addressing emerging challenges at the frontline of scientific research and engineering practice in mechanics, electronics, automation and automatic control, this volume of proceedings will be of interest to all those working in the field.
