Description

Covering everything from the smallest components to systems for flight and space travel, mechanical and aerospace engineering combines the principles of mechanical design, analysis and manufacture with the more specialized focus of aerospace engineering.

This publication presents the proceedings of ICMAE 2025, the 16th International Conference on Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, held from 15 to18 July 2025 in Rome, Italy. In total, the conference received 257 submissions, with 135 papers accepted following a strict double-blind review process by technical committee members with relevant expertise (acceptance rate 52%), 75 of which are published in this volume of proceedings.

The papers are divided into 11 sections: aerospace material analysis and mechanical performance testing; engineering material analysis and compressive characteristics experiment; mechanical analysis and reliability evaluation of mechanical components; stability analysis and life prediction of blades in mechanical systems; mathematical model, experimental simulation and characteristic analysis of general mechanical systems; aircraft structural design and aerodynamic performance analysis;  aircraft power system analysis, parameter optimization and numerical experiments; mechanical equipment design, system control and performance optimization in aerospace engineering; power drive and new propulsion technology based on combustion mode; and modern aircraft manufacturing technology and assembly technology.

Providing a comprehensive overview of the latest developments in the field, this volume will be of interest to all those working in mechanical and aerospace engineering.
