The complementary disciplines of mechanical and aerospace engineering both employ the principles of physics, material science, and engineering to develop innovative technologies. While the focus of the former is on broad, versatile systems, aerospace engineering is directed more specifically towards flight-capable technology.
This publication presents the proceedings of ACMAE 2025, the 16th Asia Conference on Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, held from 12 to 14 December 2025 in Xi'an, China. This 3-day international conference served as a dynamic forum for the exchange of ideas and advances in mechanical and aerospace engineering. A total of 158 papers were submitted for the conference. All submitted papers were subjected to a double-blind review process. This was based on criteria such as originality, innovation, applicability, technical soundness, clarity of presentation, and relevance to the conference themes, and was conducted by technical committee members with relevant expertise. The 85 accepted papers represented an acceptance rate of 45%. The 71 selected papers published in the proceedings are divided into 9 sections: fluid dynamics simulation and aerodynamics analysis; aircraft design and aerodynamic performance analysis; aerospace materials analysis and aircraft manufacturing process optimization; aerospace engine system simulation and propulsion system performance analysis; guidance system design and secure communication in aerospace engineering; mechanical equipment design, system control, and reliability analysis in aerospace engineering; aerospace propulsion systems and combustion technology; combustion theory and system thermal management; and modern mechanical system structural design and functional control.
Encompassing a broad spectrum of topics within mechanical and aerospace engineering, this volume of proceedings will be of interest to all those working in the field.
