Transportation is crucial to the function of any society. By applying new generation technologies such as big data, AI, and the internet of things, intelligent transportation systems are able to perceive, analyze, predict, and control more effectively, enabling better utilization of infrastructure, increased efficiency, and stronger support for sustainable economic development.
This publication presents the proceedings of ICITE2025, the 10th International Conference on Intelligent Transportation Engineering, held from 24 to 26 October in Beijing, China. The conference brought together experts from various fields to discuss the latest advancements in intelligent transportation engineering under the theme of: Vehicle-Road-Cloud Integration: Advancing Carbon Neutrality Goals; of particular relevance for its potential to reshape future mobility more sustainably. The conference received around 150 submissions from all over the world, and following a thorough review process, 73 papers were selected for presentation and inclusion in these proceedings. The papers are divided into 9 sections: intelligent traffic control system and autonomous driving technology; signal control and operational safety of urban rail transit; analysis and prediction of urban traffic flow; traffic accident analysis and safety management; digital transportation and urban services; construction and operational management of intelligent transportation networks in smart cities; image-based transportation condition detection and environmental simulation; collaborative scheduling and optimization management of multimodal transport systems; and next generation AI and its application in intelligent transportation.
Offering a comprehensive overview of the latest developments in the field, these proceedings will be a valuable resource for researchers and engineers whose work involves intelligent transportation engineering.
