Description

Ever since the telegraph put the Pony Express out of business in the 19th century, humanity has not stopped striving to improve the bridging of distance by means of technology. Recent technological advancements and the fusion of imaging, signal processing, and communications have accelerated this collective pursuit of better connections.

This publication presents the proceedings of ICISPC 2025, the 9th International Conference on Imaging, Signal Processing and Communications, held from 11 to 13 July 2025 in Osaka, Japan. Since its inception in 2017, the ICISPC conference series has extended its influence beyond Southeast Asia to become a global academic hub, attracting participants from around the world with its commitment to connect the world by means of technology. A total of 74 submissions were received for the conference, and after rigorous peer review, 34 papers were selected for presentation and inclusion in this collection. The papers are divided into 5 sections: target detection model and intelligent recognition technology; digital optical imaging system and 3D reconstruction technology; image analysis and computer vision; vision-based digital imaging system and data visualization; and signal detection, analysis and processing. Topics covered include breakthroughs such as multispectral polarization techniques in aerospace imaging, innovative integration of radio frequency millimeter-wave circuits with neural networks, and seamless DSP implementations in medical image analysis.

Describing the pushing of technical boundaries and addressing the real-world challenges of current communications technology, this proceedings will be of interest to all those whose work involves the use and improvement of modern communications systems.
