Fuzzy systems use fuzzy logic to handle imprecise concepts, and data mining finds patterns in huge datasets. Both are indispensable aspects of the digital technology on which we all now depend.
This publication presents the proceedings of FSDM 2025, the 11th International Conference on Fuzzy Systems and Data Mining, held from 14 to 17 November 2025 in Chaozhou City, China. The FSDM conferences aim to advance the disciplines of fuzzy systems and data mining, exploring the latest breakthroughs and innovations and reflecting the collaborative spirit of scholars and practitioners worldwide. A total of 246 submissions were received, of which 74 were ultimately selected after a rigorous peer review process, representing an acceptance rate of 30%. The proceedings is divided into five parts, each focusing on a core research domain: fuzzy set theory, algorithms and systems; data mining and knowledge discovery, machine and deep learning, and computer vision and image processing; applied mathematics and intelligent algorithms for modern industry; AI and big data in education; and interdisciplinary fields of fuzzy logic and data mining. The conference also reflected a strong interest in other emerging topics reflecting the field’s growing industrial influence, including machine and deep learning, optimization algorithms, natural language processing and text analytics, system design and implementation, and testing and quality assurance.
Presenting papers of technical rigor and originality which address key challenges and offer valuable insights for theory and practice, this volume of proceedings will be of interest to all those working in this field.
