The ubiquity of artificial intelligence (AI) is undeniable, but the study of human-computer interaction (HCI) – a multidisciplinary field blending computer science, psychology, design, and engineering to understand how people use and design computer systems to create intuitive, usable, and effective interfaces which will improve the interaction between humans and technology – is equally important.
This publication presents the proceedings of ArtInHCI2025, the 3rd International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Human-Computer Interaction, held in hybrid format from 21 to 23 October 2025 in Nanning, China. The ArtInHCI conference series was conceived with the aims of promoting multidisciplinary academic exchange while also establishing connections and enabling future collaborations. ArtInHCI2025 attracted industry experts, academics, and students from across the globe to exchange ideas and share their latest research findings and insights. The conference received a total of 69 submissions, 47 of which were sent for review after initial pre-review. Of these, 38 papers were ultimately accepted for presentation and publication following a rigorous peer review process, resulting in an acceptance rate of 55.1%. The book is divided into 3 sections: core technologies and theories of AI; HCI and intelligent application; and domain applications and societal impacts of AI, and topics include artificial neural networks; machine and deep learning; speech recognition; synthesis and natural language processing; and computer vision and image processing.
Focusing on the challenges encountered during research and application and providing an overview of the latest innovations, this volume will be of interest to all those working in the field.
