Description

One of the areas in which developments in artificial intelligence (AI) have had the most impact in recent years is that of management innovation.

This publication presents the proceedings of DMI 2025, the 4th International Conference on Digitalization and Management Innovation, held from 7 to 9 July 2025 as a hybrid event in Hong Kong, China. The DMI conferences provide a platform for experts and scholars worldwide to share their latest ideas on digitalization and management innovation, and the 2025 conference attracted participants from universities worldwide, as well as technicians, policymakers, and senior executives from a number of industries and organizational sectors. A total of 243 submissions were received for the conference, of which 73 contributions were selected for presentation and inclusion here following a rigorous review process to ensure relevance, thematic breadth and analytical depth. The volume is divided into 4 sections: digitalization and management innovation; track on applied education and applied research in AI, data science, and Web 6.0; special session on the new ecology of lifelong education; and interdisciplinary applications of digitalization and management innovation. Topics covered include novel e-supply chain, ESG, e-business and e-commerce, digital marketing, green innovation, generative AI, computer vision, AI in chatbots and healthcare, the digital human, e-learning model, AI in the metaverse, naked-eye technology, lifelong education, and human resource management issues in innovation.

This proceedings presents an overview of the most promising advancements in digitalization and management innovation and will be of interest to all those working in the field.
