The application of innovative Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies is having a growing impact on both society and industry, not least in domains such as agrotech, healthcare, and energy.
This publication presents the proceedings of CCIA 2025, the 27th edition of the International Conference of the Catalan Association for Artificial Intelligence, held from 15 to 17 October 2025 in Valls, Catalonia. The CCIA is a well-established annual event that brings together researchers in AI from across the Catalan-speaking territories and from around the world. This year, a total of 47 papers were submitted to the conference, of which this volume includes 27 long papers, 11 short papers and 3 abstracts, all carefully selected after a thorough peer review process. These 41 papers represent an acceptance rate of 87%. The papers span a variety of research domains within the field of AI, and are organized into the following 7 thematic areas: machine learning and recommender systems; natural language processing; agents and knowledge representation; logics and uncertainty; artificial vision; explainability and argumentation; and specialized applications of AI.
Providing a wide-ranging overview of innovation and research, these proceedings will be of interest to all those whose work involves AI research or application.
