In this work architecture for the automated creation of Web page layout is proposed. Based on a separation of knowledge about content and layout, it uses a declarative representation of layout design knowledge and AI-powered processing modules. It is shown how the proposed architecture provides an efficient means for the specification and processing of layout knowledge, and how it enables the production of dynamic, user-adapted presentations.
