IOS Press Policy Concerning Coronavirus / COVID-19

Due to the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) gradually decreasing, the Dutch government is slowly easing its regulations, effective from July 1, 2020.

IOS Press responds to these latest regulations (government.nl/topics/coronavirus-covid-19/news/2020/06/24/from-1-july-staying-1.5-metres-apart-remains-the-norm) and the majority of staff remain working from home until further notice. More postal services have now been resumed.

For almost a two month period (Mar 27 to May 19, 2020), no books or journals could be shipped from IOS Press offices. Quarantine measures varied per destination which led to situations where we could no longer guarantee the safe arrival of shipments.

As of May 19, dispatches of journals and books could start to be shipped again to some locations. Countries we can ship to include USA and all of Europe (except the UK). The countries that we cannot ship to at this time include Canada, the UK and the rest of the world. As soon as we are able to, we will start shipments of all book and journal orders.

Update July 6, 2020: More countries can now be shipped to, though some delays can be expected.
