The field of dentistry is evolving rapidly, driven by advancements in surgical techniques, digital technologies, and innovative materials. These developments are transforming oral healthcare, offering enhanced precision, efficiency, and patient outcomes across all aspects of dentistry. From the integration of computer-assisted surgery and 3D imaging to the development of biomaterials and minimally invasive procedures, the synergy between technology and healthcare is reshaping the practice of dentistry.
Aims and Scope: This Special Issue seeks to highlight the latest breakthroughs and interdisciplinary approaches that bridge surgical practices with comprehensive dental care. Topics of interest include but are not limited to:
1. Emerging surgical technologies, including robotic-assisted and piezoelectric techniques.
2. Digital dentistry advancements such as CAD/CAM systems, 3D printing, and AI applications.
3. Novel biomaterials for restorative, regenerative, and prosthetic applications.
4. Minimally invasive surgical approaches and their impact on patient recovery and satisfaction.
5. Integration of digital workflows in implantology, orthodontics, and maxillofacial surgery.
6. Translational research focused on combining cutting-edge technologies with clinical dentistry.
We welcome submissions of original research articles, systematic reviews, and clinical studies that explore the intersection of advanced technologies and oral healthcare. Let us collectively shape the future of dentistry through innovation and collaboration.
