StemJournal is an open access journal. The default license is the Creative Commons Attribution Non-Commercial License (CC BY-NC 4.0). 
If your article is funded by an organization that mandates CC BY, then we will publish your article under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY 4.0).  IOS Press has agreements with institutions to support open access publishing. To find out if you are eligible for a discount or waiver of the open access fee, please click here.
