The need for the interaction of different carriers' intelligent networks has never been greater than now, following the implementation of recent US FCC mandates. The full promise of the powerful capabilities of intelligent networks cannot be realised until they interwork to provide truly effective global intelligent networking. Three themes are dealt with in this book: Service Development and Deployment, Infrastructure of the Public Switched Networks, and Service Management and Business Aspects of Intelligent Networks.
